SVG to PNG converter

Turn SVG logos and icons into PNG images that work everywhere. Files stay on your device, never uploaded.

How to convert SVG to PNG online

  1. Add your SVG files

Drop SVG files into the box, choose them from your device, or paste them from your clipboard. You can add hundreds at once.

  2. Convert SVG to PNG privately on your device

Each SVG is drawn on your device and saved as a PNG with a transparent background.

  3. Download your PNG files

Save each file on its own, or take them all in one ZIP. Your files stay private: they never leave your device, so there is no upload to wait for.

Why convert SVG to PNG?

SVG describes a picture with shapes, so it stays sharp at any size, but not every platform accepts it. Email programs, social networks and many upload forms want a PNG or JPG.

The PNG is drawn at the SVG's own size, or at 1024 pixels on its longest side if the SVG is smaller, so a small icon stays sharp. A PNG is a fixed grid of pixels, so it looks blurry if you enlarge it later. Use the Resize tool for a smaller one.

Questions about converting SVG to PNG

Is transparency kept?

Yes. PNG supports transparent backgrounds, so a logo keeps its see-through areas.

What size will the PNG be?

The SVG's own size, or 1024 pixels on its longest side if the SVG is smaller. That is enough for most uses and sharp on high-resolution screens. For another size, resize the PNG afterwards.

Will my fonts look right?

If an SVG uses a font that isn't installed on your device, the browser substitutes another. Convert the text to outlines in your design tool first for an exact match.

Can I convert a PNG back to SVG?

Not by converting. A PNG is a grid of pixels and an SVG is a set of shapes, so the shapes can't be recovered from the pixels. Keep your SVG as the source file and make PNGs from it whenever you need one.

Are my SVG files private?

Yes. Sanil.app converts your SVG files on your device, so they are never uploaded and never reach a server. They stay yours.
